A charming example of dry rose + copper-hued Pinot Gris. Nectarine flesh & peach-pit, salty minerals, tangerine skin & saffron spice character. Last produced in 2019. Due to heavy smoke from local fires in 2020 and the subsequent fruit damage, the next Ramato vintage will be in 2021, for release in March of 2022.
100 cases produced. Current vintage offering is 2017. Seasonally reliable warm and balanced humidity produced an exceptional dry White Pinot Noir. Early harvesting retained acidity and freshness, followed by light, whole-cluster pneumatic pressing. Yellow citrus, salty minerals, chamomile and yellow apple character.
